Karatina University, through the Directorate of Resource Mobilization and International Programmes, has established a strategic partnership with The Avocado Foundation (The Netherlands) to strengthen financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development skills among our students, staff, and community farmers.
Through this partnership, Karatina University and The Avocado Foundation (The Netherlands) will implement targeted training, mentorship, and capacity-building initiatives designed to equip participants with practical skills in agribusiness innovation. These initiatives will empower students, staff, and community farmers to develop sustainable ventures and improve their economic resilience. In the long term, the collaboration aims to contribute to community economic empowerment through alumni-led initiatives and sustainable agricultural projects.
We look forward to the opportunities that this partnership will bring to our university community and to the broader impact it will create in advancing sustainable livelihoods.
