BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Johannes Njagi Njoka is an Associate Professor in Educational Psychology who is extensively published in the area of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Education. My research output has 52 articles in refereed journals and three university level books. I have effective and in-depth learner-centered university teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. My postgraduate supervision at PhD levels are five (5) while at Masters level are twenty four (24). I have participated and presented several research papers in international academic conferences. I have served the University in various capacities such as Dean, School of Education and Social sciences, Head of Department of Education for many years and as an Assistant Dean of Students both at Moi University and Karatina University. I have proven practical experience in University level teaching, research and outreach activities since 2004 from where I have risen through the ranks to the position of Associate Professor. I also served as a Council member in the defunct Karatina University College. I aspire to teach, research and engage in outreach activities with the objective of impacting societal livelihoods with my research findings.
